Overview Join Boston Center for Plastic Surgery as an Operating Room Assistant! Responsibilities OR Preparation Pick cases Stock rooms and maintain readiness Set up rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies Ensure stretchers, tables, devices are set up in the correct position with the correct accessories. Help turnover ORs between cases to allow the surgical staff a break/lunch Equipment and Supply Management Check equipment availability and report malfunction Manage consignment and specialty supply inventory Unload orders Track inventory needs in backroom Instrumentation Clean instruments appropriately Pack kits accurately Run Bowie Dicks and biologics Qualifications Previous experience as an MA is preferred, but not required.
